I led the design of the bank's investment app.
I designed all the app's workflows, including: trading in stocks and other securities, the foreign exchange market, portfolio management, and access to U.S. exchanges such as NYSE and NASDAQ, among other features
The new design made the tariff structure and account creation process intuitive, eliminating friction points that previously caused users to drop off
User research & moderated usability testing
To validate design decisions before development, I conducted in‑depth interviews and moderated UX testing of interactive prototypes. This helped identify hidden friction points, test key hypotheses about tariff selection and trading flows, and fix usability issues early — saving development time and ensuring a smoother user experience
Icons for all issuers
I drew each icon manually, carefully adjusting it to the guidelines to ensure every asset — whether a stock, bond, or currency — looked polished and matched the app's visual style.
I also created the guidelines themselves and integrated them into the overall design system, making it easy for other designers to maintain consistency across thousands of assets
New onboarding flow
The new onboarding flow is the result of tight collaboration across multiple teams — backend, card delivery, banking, brokerage, legal, editors, and tone of voice. Every step was redesigned and simplified. Every piece of copy was crafted to be as clear as possible for the user.
At no point is the user left alone — from ordering a physical card to opening a brokerage account, they always know what's happening and what to do next
